It appears that the John Bos and Joe Kurland of West County have been drinking liberally from the trough of the biased and self-serving corporate owned media outlets. I like to think of the people of West County as largely open-minded free thinkers, but when I hear folks parroting the “official” line of vested corporate interests, then I begin to realize just how effective — and powerful — the mechanism of indoctorinzation can be when applied systematically via the 24-hour news cycle.
The Republican Party, the party of Barry Goldwater and the John Birch Society (notorious for its bigotry and anti-Semitism) is scared to death of Donald Trump because he is not in corporate America’s pocket and therefore not beholden to its vested financial interests. The Tea Party folks would be doing a celebratory jig in the streets if they knew John Bos and Joe Kurland were pulling in the same direction by smearing Trump.
If you boys believe that Trump is the new Hitler, then how would you characterize Putin and his actions over the past few years? Would you consider him a misguided and confused moderate Democrat? And all the time we squabble over presidential politics, U.S. and Israeli industrialists develop evermore sophisticated and powerful weaponry to maintain the status quo of world domination and corporate profit.
As Tom Petty intoned: “It’s good to Be King.” Put the coffee pot on John and Joe: it’s time to sober up.
