LEYDEN — The Council on Aging is hosting a mini-lunch downstairs in Town Hall from noon to 1:30 p.m. on Thursday.
The menu includes sandwiches, vegetable soup, salad and dessert.
BERNARDSTON — Cushman Library will present a First Friday Preschool Story Time on Friday, March 3, from 11 a.m. to noon.
According to a Cushman Library press release, preschoolers and their guardians can hear stories, color, do crafts, sing songs and enjoy a light snack.
The program was made possible by a Pioneer Valley Regional School Coordinated Family & Community Engagement grant funded by the Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care.
LEYDEN — A clay workshop with ceramic artist Rhonda Wainshilbaum will be held at 46 River Road on Sunday, March 5, from 2 to 5 p.m.
Participants will make toad houses for their gardens, but will need to come back at a later date to glaze their pieces. The workshop costs $50 to attend, and includes all materials, though attendees can get $5 off for bringing a new participant. Ten percent of the proceeds will go to the National Environmental Law Center.
