CONWAY — Students from the Conway Grammar School will take to the stage for a jump rope show this week.
“There will be total club routines, and small group routines set to music,” said Principal Kristen Gordon Tuesday.
The program will be held at 1:40 p.m. today, and again Friday at 6:30 p.m. in the Grammar School just off Route 116.
Gordon said fifth- and sixth-grade students have been preparing for the show since November, working with the school’s physical education teacher three times per week during recess.
Routines have been choreographed by students, she noted.
“It’s a variety of skill and creativity. Students utilize jump ropes — multi-length — pogo sticks, scooters and lolo balls, to name a few, during their routines. Some students will utilize mini-trampolines,” Gordon said, adding that the show will last approximately 50 minutes.
