This March and April Rachel Silverman’s students present their work at Salmon Falls Gallery.
Students create artwork in her regular art classes and in Art Club. Silverman gives her students prompts and inspirations as a jumping off point for their own work.
Sketchbook prompts include things like drawing a relative by the light cast from an electronic devise, as well as draw your art teacher in a fight with an animal.
Exhibit runs from March 3 through April 30. A reception for the exhibit will take place Saturday, April 8, from 4 to 6 p.m., with music by student musicians The Paperweights.
