ORANGE — The Children’s Health & Wellness Task Force of the North Quabbin Community Coalition will present “Munch & Move” at the Athol-Orange Elks at 92 New Athol Road in Orange on Wednesday.
It is billed as “the best family night of your winter vacation.”
There will be dinner, music, games and more, all free of charge. The event is slated to last from 6 to 8 p.m.

ATHOL — The Athol Public Library is preparing for the 89th Academy Awards ceremony, slated for Sunday with an “Oscars Party” on Friday.
The library will host a viewing of previous Best Picture winner “Chicago.” There will also be light refreshments, Oscar trivia and a photo booth. Guests are invited to dress “for the red carpet.” The party is scheduled for 6:30 to 9 p.m.
ATHOL — The Athol Area YMCA plans its annual dinner dance for Saturday. It will be a Mardi Gras celebration.
It is scheduled to last from 6 p.m. to midnight. Tickets are $35 per ticket and $265 for a table of eight.
A social hour with hors d’oeuvres is scheduled for 6 p.m. Dinner starts at 7 p.m., with a raffle and silent auction at 7:45. The Ticket band will start performing at 8 p.m.
