To the people of Franklin County, and the rest of the people of the People’s Republic of Massachusetts:

It’s a shame that free speech no longer exists, unless you are anti everything that makes sense. No pipeline, too dangerous, but running rail cars full of gas through down town Northfield night and day is safe, right! Through down town Greenfield night and day, right! Putting a pipeline out in a virtually uninhabited power line is not safe! Well fine, you have a right to your opinion. Now, however, I want the same respect! I want my right to my opinion, to be respected. The vandals who keep stealing my signs must be really threatened by someone else’s opinion. If they feel that they are right, why do they feel they have to keep me quiet? Personally, I think they are ignorant, and rigid in their thinking !

Why do we need a gas pipeline? We need it to make clean power for electricity, to run dryers at Erving Paper, to run dryers at the Lane and Warner asphalt plants, which would be much cleaner than now, using oil. We have lost the nuke plant in Rowe, and Vernon, Vt. Vernon could conceivably be converted to use gas to make steam to make power.

Now as for the environment, every one claims to care about, if it were really an issue why do these people build their houses, and leave their junk cars out in the woods, where it screws up wild life habitat and generally pollutes the entire environment; yeah, they really care!

To the last people who stole my sign: I got your license number when you drove away.
