Franklin County CiderDays

Franklin County CiderDays will be held Nov. 4 through 6 at different locations throughout the area.

New this year is a cider cocktail tasting at the Arts Block on Friday, Nov. 4. Darlene Hayes, author of “Another Bite of the Apple,” will speak that night.

On Saturday, Nov. 5, there will be workshops offered, orchard tours given, cooking demonstrations and two cider salons at Berkshire East in Charlemont.

A harvest dinner will be served at the Warfield House in Charlemont on Nov. 5, as well.

The Community Center in Old Deerfield will host cider tastings and pairings on Sunday, Nov. 6. The tastings will be led by experts in the field.

Some events are free, while others have a fee associated. Some typically sell out, so tickets should be purchased as soon as possible at:

CiderDays is sponsored by Franklin County Chamber of Commerce, with the help of volunteers and local cidermakers. Most events will feature and celebrate hard cider, but sweet will be available, as well.

CiderDays is in its 22nd year. Venues are located countywide from Ashfield, Deerfield, Charlemont and Colrain to New Salem and many towns in between.
