On Sunday, June 5, the congregation will hold its Annual Meeting at 10 a.m. at the church and online. We will elect new members of the board, approve the budget for the coming year, and have an interactive, collaborative experience led by Dr. Paul Bocko to do some visioning and planning for the year(s) to come. To conclude the church year, the Rev. Melissa Carvill Ziemer will lead an intergenerational service at 10 a.m. on June 12.

WHATELY — Whately Congregational Church, 177 Chestnut Plain Road, will celebrate 250 years of existence June 5, at its 10 a.m. service.
Former pastors have been invited to share memories and anecdotes. Our elder members will be recognized during the service. A memory book has been created with widespread remembrances from many contributors. Collections of pictures will also be displayed.
We will enjoy a potluck meal following the service. Our hope is to be joined by the community who have been connected to the Whately Church in any way.

ASHFIELD — On Sunday, June 5, at 4 p.m., the First Congregational Church (UCC) of Ashfield will host “Beethoven’s Blues,” the third in a series of concerts of the Heirloom Music Festival 2022. Classical string instrumentalists will be joined by a blues guitarist, and together they will explore the blues in string quintets by Beethoven, Schubert and others. PETERSHAM — The Orthodox Congregational Church of Petersham will hold its annual Lasagna Dinner as a to-go meal, with pick-up starting at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, June 11, at the church, 21 North Main St. The menu includes stuffed chicken, rice pilaf, salad, a vegetable and a dessert. Cost is $12 per meal, proceeds to help repair the church bell ringer, broken on Christmas Eve. Reservations required, call 978-724-3362.
