I’m writing to share my enthusiastic support for Natalie Blais in the upcoming primary. I’ve known Natalie for many years, and she has always been a strong advocate for farmers.
While working as a district representative to Congressman McGovern, she was instrumental in helping defeat the Kinder Morgan gas pipeline, protecting Clarkdale Fruit Farms in Deerfield as well as many other farms threatened by the project.
More recently she has been a vocal proponent for fully funding the HIP program, whereby SNAP recipients receive additional funds to purchase directly from local farms.
Please join me in voting for Natalie Blais on Sept. 4, and sending a dedicated, experienced advocate of agriculture to the Statehouse.
