Mr. Maiewski used many words but they amounted to not much at all (letter March 2). He implied I ignore science. Have you not read my past letters to the editor stating climate change/global warming facts? Such as;

BBC Science: “The volume of Arctic sea ice increased by around a third after an unusually cool summer in 2013.”

A report coauthored by scientist Rachel Tilling, from University College London: “It would suggest that sea ice is more resilient perhaps if you get one year of cooler temperatures, we’ve almost wound the clock back a few years on this gradual decline that’s been happening over decades.”

COP21: Carbon emissions “to stall or even decline” this year — according to the study, published in the journal Nature Climate Change and presented here at COP21 in Paris, emissions of carbon dioxide from fossil fuels and industry are likely to have fallen 0.6 percent in 2015.

You and I both know the books you cite in your letter start with conclusions, then backfill with information that concurs. The ending is finished before the books are completed.

You sir, as with most climate change/global-warming believers who live here in the Valley, are fixated with C02 as the basis and cause, closing your minds to natural climate cycles and all other alternatives or suggestions.
