No one hurt in Wendell school bus fire

WENDELL — No one was injured when a school bus caught fire on Jennison Road shortly after 9:30 p.m. Saturday.

Wendell Fire Chief Joe Cuneo said the bus was unoccupied when it caught fire and nothing else was involved. He said the cause of the blaze is undetermined, though it was not deemed suspicious. He said the emergency call came in at 9:38 p.m.

Cuneo said the New Salem Fire Department was called in for mutual aid.
