I have looked forward every year to the Nativity scene on the town common. I think it is such a hateful act to vandalize it every year.
I know the woman who made it and she put a lot of work into it. I would like to know how people can have no respect for things that don’t belong to them. It is like the burning of the flag on the college grounds. Who do they think they are?
Maybe the town should put a barb wire fence around the things that should not be touched. Last year the ice sculptures were smashed right after they were made.
I know people work very hard on the work they do. I think criminal charges should be brought to the people who did this.
