NORTHFIELD — Dickinson Memorial Library is hosting a presentation on Native American artifacts and history Saturday, from 1 to 2:30 p.m.
The presentation, which will be led by Christopher Kelly, will include artifacts like stone ax heads, arrow heads, atl-atls and pestles that the library owns. Residents are also invited to bring artifacts they’d like help identifying.
LEYDEN — The Leyden Council on Aging presents the annual Veterans Day breakfast Saturday from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. downstairs in Town Hall.
Breakfast will include scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, biscuits, pancakes, coffee and juice.
Those interested in attending are asked to call Sue Howarth at 413-774-3118 by Friday to make reservations.
BERNARDSTON — The Powers Institute, located on Church Street, has declared 13 school desks, one bench and one table as surplus property.
Interested bidders should contact Town Coordinator Hugh Campbell at 413-648-5401. Winning bidders are required to remove the items.
