Bernardston
The third annual Easter egg hunt at The Farm Table, 219 South St., returns on Saturday, April 4. The egg hunt geared toward children ages 4 and under will start at 11:30 a.m., followed by the egg hunt geared toward children ages 5 and up at noon. The first 150 children will get egg hunt bags that were donated by Dead River Co. in Bernardston. There will also be face painting, themed treats, arts and crafts, and an opportunity to design a floral arrangement. The event will be held rain or shine.
Montague
- Peter Cottontail’s EGGstravaganza returns to Unity Park in Turners Falls on Saturday, April 4, at 1 p.m., rain or shine. The event, organized by the Montague Parks & Recreation Department, welcomes children ages 4 to 12 to participate in the hunt for approximately 5,000 candy- and toy-filled eggs. People must bring their own basket or bag to collect the eggs and the horn sounds promptly at 1 p.m. to start the egg hunt. Pictures with Peter Cottontail will also be available, along with a bake sale.
- Before the egg hunt at Unity Park on Saturday, Peter Cottontail will hop to the Turners Falls branch of Greenfield Savings Bank, 282 Avenue A, from 3 to 4:30 p.m. for Easter photos. Children will receive a small gift.
New Salem
An Easter egg hunt will be held on the town common at 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 4. Attendees are advised to bring a basket.
Northfield
The Northfield Police and Fire departments, along with Northfield EMS, are sponsoring an Easter egg hunt at Northfield Elementary School, 104 Main St., on Saturday, April 4. The hunt begins promptly at 9 a.m. and goes quickly, so attendees are advised to arrive early. Parents and guardians are also reminded to watch their children and monitor their food allergies. Candy with nuts can be exchanged for nut-free candy after the hunt.
Phillipston
Red Apple Farm at 455 Highland Ave. will host Easter’s Great Gathering on Saturday, April 4, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Families are invited to spend the day on the farm enjoying egg hunts for the children, breakfast at The Brew Barn, raffles and prizes.
South Deerfield
Visit with the Easter Bunny from noon to 2 p.m. at Yankee Candle Village, 25 Greenfield Road, on Friday, April 3, and Saturday, April 4. No appointment is necessary for photos with the Easter Bunny. Guests should bring their own camera or cellphone.
