Franklin County’s YMCA is one of the strongest and most positive institutions in our region. If you are interested in improving your physical fitness, learning new ways to lessen stress and making new friends, then please join us at the Y at 451 Main Street in Greenfield. Since I’ve been a member, I’ve taken classes on boxing (it’s a serious workout), pickleball (easy to play, harder to be really good!), and met new friends from attending Mocktails and Menopause. I have friends whose children are in the day care and who are competing on our youth gymnastics team. And I see plenty of people taking advantage of swim classes and workout rooms. In the summer, we have Camp Apex, where the Y holds amazing summer camps for children and teens. Really, our Y is living up to its vision to Love, Serve and Care for our community.

Now that it’s almost spring, it’s time for the Y’s Annual Campaign. This year’s goal is $165,000, which will go directly to support individuals and families and give them access to membership. (No individual or family is denied access to the Y because of financial constraints.) Please join me in making a meaningful contribution to the Y’s Annual Campaign. Every dollar raised helps us Love, Serve and Care for the people of Franklin County.

To donate to the Franklin County’s YMCA Annual Campaign, please visit www.your-y.org/donate or call the Y at 413-773-3646, x440.

Thank you and see you at the Y!
