Somehow, I found myself plop in the middle of a snowbank. I was stuck but unharmed. I took a chance that Village Pizza might lend me a shovel. They kindly did. Moments later, back at my car, a young man appeared asking if I needed help. (I believe there were shimmering wings on his back!) After he dug and pushed me out, I asked if he had just been passing by. He told me he worked at the pizza place and came to see what the problem was.

With all the chaos in the world right now, I am grateful more than ever for this act of kindness. Thank you Village Pizza, for being a true neighbor.
