Reporting party states the neighbor is yelling and banging on the walls, could make out the words “I don’t care” and a lot of “F” words. Reporting party was concerned as he believed the neighbor was out of control and causing a disturbance. They also expressed concern about potential self-harm. Not as reported. Involved female was upset the internet was not working. Services rendered.

6:32 p.m. — Crystal E. Rivera, 27, of Riverside Drive in Greenfield, was arrested on Riverside Drive on a warrant.

8:21 p.m. — Report of an unwanted person at Ryan & Casey Liquors on Main Street. Female party is trying to get other customers to buy nips for her. Advised of trespass information, ongoing issue.

9:59 p.m. — Michael J. Peters, 45, of Prospect Avenue in Greenfield, was arrested on charges of assault and battery on a family/household member and resisting arrest.

Tuesday, Feb. 10

4:06 a.m. — Threats reported at SWM Warehouse on Silvio O. Conte Drive. Two coworkers had a disagreement over food in the microwave and exchanged words. Both parties were advised of their options.

10:44 a.m. — Reporting party from Hope Street states her neighbors have been tampering with her mail. Advised of options.

Wednesday, Feb. 11

5:29 a.m. — Reporting party from Conway Street reports a dog has been barking excessively since 3:00 p.m. the day before. Requesting a welfare check on both the dog and the person in this apartment. Officers making entry into the apartment found no food or water for the dog. House is unsecure due to a broken window and broken glass in the front door. Animal control officer has custody of the dog. Building clear, nobody home.

9:08 a.m. — Binu Bahuleya Panicker, 50, of Chapman Street in Greenfield, was arrested on a warrant on Chapman Street.

9:16 p.m. — Reporting party from Chapman Street states a male party was sleeping on her front porch in a sleeping bag but has since moved along. Reporting party was advised to call police if it happens again.

Thursday, Feb. 12

3:07 a.m. — Reporting party at the homeless shelter on Arch Place states there is a male party at the door banging on it. She states she is the only staff member there and does not feel safe going to the door. Joshua Peter Sonntag, 45, homeless of Greenfield, was arrested on a warrant.

8:38 a.m. — Collision involving a bus full of kids on Place Terrace. Occupant of a parked vehicle opened the door as the bus was driving by. Bus clipped the door. Report issued.

12:21 p.m. — Suspicious activity reported on Poplar Street. Three men in a white Hyundai SUV are flying a drone. Involved parties lost the drone in a bush and got a golf club out of the vehicle to retrieve it, but they are going onto people’s lawns. Gone on arrival. Most likely an insurance company.

1:27 p.m. — Suspicious activity reported on Madison Circle. Male party is knocking on doors about cheaper electricity. Did not have any ID on him. Party was with Royalty Renewables, was advised not to solicit without a permit.

5:18 p.m. — Maxwell J.B. Saint Squaired, 33, of Haywood Street in Greenfield, was arrested on a warrant.

Friday, Feb. 13

1:00 p.m. — Anthony Matthew Kerivan, 21, of River Street in Greenfield, was arrested on Main Street on a warrant.

5:08 p.m. — Loud screaming heard from Church Street. Colyn Michael Brechenser, 23, of River Street in Bernardston, was arrested on charges of assault and battery on a police officer and resisting arrest.

Saturday, Feb. 14

3:53 a.m. — Reporting party calling from Baystate Franklin Medical Center on High Street states no one is at the emergency department’s reception desk. States his friend is in severe abdominal pain and he would like police to get someone to come to the desk to help them. While on the phone, someone walked up to the desk to help. No need for police, fire or medical at this time.

4:41 p.m. — Caller states she locked her keys in her car with her dog inside on Colrain Road. While on the phone, she discovered her passenger side door was unlocked. No services needed.

Sunday, Feb. 15

5:50 a.m. — Caller from Pray Drive states she believes her ex is in the house. Caller reportedly saw him pull up on the cameras and now she cannot log into them. Antonio Ortiz Santos, 20, of East Windsor, Connecticut, was arrested on charges of breaking and entering in the nighttime for a felony, and two counts of vandalizing property.

1:20 p.m. — Report of a man standing on the billboard in the area of the French King Highway and Wunsch Road. Inspected billboard, nothing found.

Monday, Feb. 16

2:18 p.m. — Caller reports a crash with no injuries on Montague City Road. Christian Eliazer Deoliveira, 28, of Springfield, was arrested on a warrant.

6:50 p.m. — Reporting party states a white Hyundai has been parked in the same location on Main Street for more than two hours. Someone is inside the car. Unsure if there is something wrong with the occupant. No issues, registered owner was on their phone.

Tuesday, Feb. 17

3:44 p.m. — Reporting party requesting a welfare check on an elderly female seen walking down Main Street with a walker. Caller felt the female didn’t appear to be dressed for the weather as she was wearing a thin blue coat. Party was walking to the bank and was dressed fine for 40-degree weather. No concerns.

3:59 p.m. — Suspicious activity reported at the Cherry Rum Plaza on Bernardston Road. Dakarai Charles Crapps, 52, of Camp Avenue in Greenfield, was arrested on a warrant.

9:38 p.m. — Caller from School Street states his neighbor is working on his property and is keeping him awake. Wants him to stop for the night. Property manager advised the worker left at around 3 p.m. and should not be there. Quiet upon arrival. No one in the area.

Wednesday, Feb. 18

1:03 a.m. — Reporting party states his friend is a worker at the Mobil gas station on the Mohawk Trail and had a strange interaction with a customer. States a female party came in to use the restroom, handed the worker a piece of paper talking about “evil spirits,” walked out near his vehicle and tried to come back in before the workers closed the door. Spoke to the customer, who stated she dropped a note off for the worker because of her fear of Immigration and Customs Enforcement. Assured her that the employee will be fine and that ICE is not in the area.

12:22 p.m. — Caller from Olive Street states she and her neighbors can hear a dog howling. Sounds like it could be in pain but is unsure of where it is coming from. Animal control officer advised.

1:09 p.m. — Officer investigating suspicious information posted on Facebook in the “Everything Greenfield” group reporting a possible homicide on Pierce Street. Comments referenced police in the area as well. Police attempted to make contact with the party, with no answer. Message was left. Contacted Massachusetts State Police. State Police also have no knowledge of a situation happening on Pierce Street.

5:10 p.m. — Party called to report his bike was stolen. The bike was locked at the Olive Street Parking Garage on Monday afternoon and he just noticed it is missing.

9:24 p.m. — Caller at Stop & Shop on the French King Highway states she was informed by a patron that someone they know is going to be heading to the store to steal energy drinks within the next five minutes. Officer spoke with an employee who was unsure if anything was taken. Employee was advised that if they do see anything on the cameras later to call police.

Thursday, Feb. 19

11:15 a.m. — Shoplifting reported at Green Fields Market on Main Street. Store manager reports a male and a female walked out with a canvas bag full of food without paying. Manager retrieving surveillance footage.

1:28 p.m. — Report of larceny of $900 worth of flowers from a grave at Green River Cemetery on Wisdom Way. Occurred sometime between the funeral on Monday, Feb. 16, and the afternoon of Wednesday, Feb. 18. Report issued.

4:31 p.m. — Vandalism reported on Federal Street. Tires slashed. Report filed.

Friday, Feb. 20

12:56 a.m. — Suspicious activity reported at Greenfield Savings Bank on Main Street. Male party was using the ATM. He was advised to remove the ski mask while using the machine at the bank.

6:10 p.m. — Caller states there is someone who is being loud and seems out of it on the second floor of the Olive Street Parking Garage. She does not feel safe walking up the stairs to her car. While on the phone, the party walked down the stairs and left. No further request for services.

Saturday, Feb. 21

7:55 a.m. — Threat reported on Woodleigh Avenue. Party got into a fight with her cousin, who lives in New York and threatened to come to Massachusetts. Last time this happened, they keyed her car. Party was advised of options. Party requested patrols by her residence during late evening/early morning hours. Services rendered.

9:15 a.m. — Report of an abandoned vehicle at Country Club Road and Barton Road. Contact made with the vehicle’s owner, who stated it got stuck in the snow last night. Same was advised the vehicle could not stay there and needed to be moved. May need a tow.

6:06 p.m. — Caller reports a female party was hit by a vehicle near the Sandri convenience store on Federal Street. Female party is conscious and alert. She was not on a crosswalk and was wearing dark clothing at the time she was struck. Female party was taken by ambulance to Baystate Franklin Medical Center. Report issued.

Sunday, Feb. 22

10:41 a.m. — Party looking to speak with an officer about upcoming elections. Wanted to make suggestions for the Greenfield Police Department’s response to potential ICE deployments during election season. Party was given the chief’s email address.

8:00 p.m. — Caller on Briar Way reports the carbon monoxide alarm is sounding. Fire Department sent. Reporting party did use the self-cleaning option on the gas stove earlier that morning. Contacting Berkshire Gas. Unable to provide an estimated time of arrival. Berkshire Gas on scene, going to red tag the oven.
