William N. Clark

Heath, MA – William N. Clark, 83, passed away unexpectedly at home on Tuesday, January 13, 2026. Born on November 7, 1942 to Dorothy (Taylor) and Darwin Clark, Sr, he was a lifelong resident of Heath.

Bill was a member of the Eastern Draft Horse Association for many years, and enjoyed horse and ox pulling. He was the owner of Bill Clark Logs and Lumber; a logger, woodsman and sawmill operator. His life was centered as a dedicated father and family man, and then grandfather and great-grandfather.

Survivors include two sons: Nathan (Cindy) of Heath and Kyle (Daphne) of Hawley; his daughter Megan Blanchette (Adam) of Wisconsin; seven grandchildren: Samantha Thompson(Matt), Daniel Clark (Shauna), Jenni Lanoue (Jeremy), Jillian Kelley( Isaac), Melissa Patten (Tim), Miranda Andrews (Jon) and Aubrey Blanchette and 15 great-grandchildren. He also leaves two brothers: Roger Clark (Judy) of Heath and Timothy Clark (Robyn) of Hawley; two sisters: Judith Johnson (Dana) of Charlemont and Linda Reynolds of Charlemont and several nieces and nephews. Bill was predeceased by his brother Darwin, Jr and sisters Joanne Clark and Doreen Gagner.

Arrangements, under the direction of Johnson Funeral Home of Shelburne Falls, include a Celebration of Life planned for the spring.
