Judith Kaderli

Greenfield, MA – Judith Peil Kaderli passed away peacefully on December 22, 2025. Judy was a recent resident of Greenfield, MA after living for 30 years in Newtown CT. Born in Eau Claire, WI on 10/31/1945, to Edward Peil and Genevieve Peil (nee Barthen), she grew up in Wisconsin and then moved around with her husband, Ronald Kaderli during his time in the Navy. She and Ron eventually settled into Connecticut first in Monroe and finally Newtown.

Judy is survived by her daughter Karen Kaderli, her daughter-in-law Megan Power-Kaderli, and her 4 grandchildren, Brandy Giordano, Jacob Kaderli, Alexander Kaderli, and Gabriel Kaderli. Judy was preceded in death by her husband and her son, Jason Kaderli.

Judy was a devoted spouse and caring parent. While she loved all animals, she was especially fond of horses. She was a passionate dressage rider whose last partner was Andric Aquila. Judy had a quick mind and could often finish the New York Time’s Sunday crossword puzzle without help. She also enjoyed crafting and watching football, especially the Green Bay Packers and New England Patriots.

A celebration of life will be held in the spring of 2026.
