Chicopee, MA – Edward "Ed" T. Lynch, Jr., 56, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, November 29, 2025. Raised and educated in Brockton, he was a graduate of Brockton High School, and earned his Associates Degree in Business Management from Greenfield Community College. Ed was a kind and generous man, and was always willing to help out when he could. He was a hard-core sports fan for all the Boston teams and enjoyed going to games whenever possible. Ed was in the home improvement business for over twenty-five years and was co-owner of Contractor Direct in Chicopee. His bright smile and infectious laugh will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Ed is survived by his loving mother, Sylvia Procopio and his stepfather, Ken Perkins of South Deerfield; his father, Edward Lynch and his stepmother, Dianne Lynch of Avon; sister, Donna Lynch-Butler and his brother-in-law, Edgar Butler; nieces, Elizabeth Butler and Allyson Butler; nephews, Ryan Butler and George Butler, all of Chicopee; and longtime family friend, David Martin, of Springfield. Calling hours for Ed will be held Thursday, December 11, 2025, from 8:45-10:15AM, in Kozikowski Funeral Home, 565 Front Street, Chicopee. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:30AM in St. Stanislaus Basilica, 566 Front St., Chicopee. Committal and burial will follow in St. Stanislaus Cemetery.
