Monday, Nov. 3

9:55 a.m. – Peeping person. Caller stated her neighbor on Riverside Drive has been recording them through the window. Ongoing issues with neighbor. Reporting party had questions regarding a harassment prevention order. Services rendered.

11:10 a.m. – Reporting party calling with concerns that someone called her father yesterday, saying they were from Medicare. They asked him medical questions, but no personal information given. Reporting party would like a call back. Advised reporting party to contact her fathers doctor’s office to inquire about the phone call they received yesterday. Reporting party advised no personal info was given. Services rendered.

4:47 p.m. – Report of unwanted person(s) on Deerfield Street. Officers sent. Reporting party stating a family member is in crisis and is not supposed to be there. Arrested John Michael Wardynski, 38, of Deerfield Street in Greenfield on charges of disorderly conduct and disturbing the peace.

Tuesday, Nov. 4

8:03 a.m. – Report of trespassing individual(s) at parking lot next to Salvation Army. Reporting party states they own the lot next to the Salvation Army and there have been tents put up on the property as well as on going littering issues. Reporting party upset with unknown people walking through his parking lot and setting tents up over the fence on railroad property and leaving rubbish everywhere. Advised to contact railroad on Olive Street to see if they could put more trespassing signs and fix up the fence. Services rendered.

8:06 p.m. – Reporting party from Harrison Avenue is reporting his landlord is playing extremely loud music at all hours of the day and night in the vacant apartment upstairs. States this is intentional to harass the reporting party. Reporting party states he has called three times this week and nothing has been done. He feels his landlord is being allowed to harass him. Requesting an officer respond to the house and record the noise on their body cam for proof. Ongoing issue between tenant and landlord. Music could be heard coming from the upstairs apartment which is vacant. Landlord less than willing to turn the music off.

Wednesday, Nov. 5

11:28 a.m. – Reporting party states a black Honda Civic occupied by an unhoused male party has been parked in the cemetery next to her house on Wisdom Way and the car has been position to face her bedroom window. Party stays in car during the day near mother’s grave, stays at father’s on occasion. Said he would move to another area, 200 yards from callers house.

2:37 p.m. – Caller reporting over $9,000 worth of tools stolen from his garage. Called party back and he stated he never called to report tools stolen and he had called to report and accident. Services rendered.

Wednesday, Nov. 5

10:01 a.m. – Camper and trash on Nash’s Mill Road. Spoke with DPW who advised they had concerns with growing trash and the camper in the area. Determined the land is owned by WMECO and officer has been in contact with them regarding it, however, no formal plan of action has been determined. Party has been told previously to remove items as he is responsible for the camper yet it remains.

5:53 p.m. – Caller reports a male party wearing dark clothing with a hoodie over his head with what looked likes a fake badge walking up to houses offering electrical work. Reporting party stated male party was walking to Main Street from Birch Street. Canvassed area and side streets, gone on arrival.

11:11 p.m. – Report of an unwanted person(s) at Baystate Franklin Medical Center. Involved party has been discharged and won’t leave. Party called stating she was being thrown out of the hospital and that she would just like a ride home at this point. Courtesy transport of party back to her residence. Services rendered.

Friday, Nov. 7

4:58 a.m. – Reporting party would like to speak with an officer about something being a crime or not. Called three times, no answer.

9:40 a.m. – Suspicious activity reported. Caller reporting female in all black with a pink hat and backpack is wandering around the area had previously been looking in windows of houses on Abbott Street and is now at the construction site at this location. Confirmed with witnesses she was on property looking in house and car windows. Involved female was located and moved along.

8:38 p.m. – Reporting party form Mill Street reporting that she heard a loud explosion or transformers blowing up, does not know exact location. Second caller stating he heard a loud popping from the area of the railroad tracks. Sound heard from the area of train tracks from Pella lot. Units checked area, unable to locate source.

Saturday. Nov. 8

9:05 a.m. – Caller would like to know if he has a trespass order from BJ’s Wholesale because he has a Doordash to pick up and is losing money by not being able to pick up an order. Could not locate any documentation confirming an active trespass order, advised same he should be able to pick up a food order and to not cause any issues. Services rendered.

4:18 p.m. – Reporting party stating the past few days there has been a stray cat in the area that is being attacked by other animals and is just wondering if ACO could retrieve it. ACO advised.

7:15 p.m. – Reporting party stating he saw 2-3 people yelling at each other on Conway Street near Call’s Corner. One wearing a dark hoodie and white shorts, only verbal, no weapons. While on the phone, parties seemed to settle down, sitting near a darker sedan behind the location. Not as reported. Friends hanging out and yelling to another group of friends in a passing vehicle. No argument. Reminded to be respectful of neighbors.

Sunday, Nov. 9

1:41 a.m. – Reporting party looking for a welfare check on a male party in a Jeep at Dollar General on Colrain Road. Nehemiah Q. Wickline, 29, of Pleasant Street in Northampton, was arrested on a charge of OUI-Liquor OR .08% (2nd offense).

8:46 a.m. – Caller reports a female party at Main and Wells Streets yelling for the past 30 minutes. Caller reporting a female in her 60s standing out near the nail salon, yelling for the last half hour wearing a brown jacket, grass green pants with pink luggage, throwing her stuff. Female upset with life and her current living situation. Spoke to her about her options and let her vent. Advised of noise complaint.

10:01 a.m. – Report of a breaking and entering into a motor vehicle on Franklin Street. Officer to investigate. About $300.00 worth of items taken. Unlocked in parking lot, vehicle entered around 5 a.m., on video, backpack with Bose headphones navy blue with charging case, gym straps, black backpack red etching. Video only shows a subject wearing camo jacket enter car. Report issued.

1:37 p.m. – Caller reports an animal in the bottom of the trash can out in front of the town hall. Animal Control Officers advised. Opossum in custody.
