Vendor space available for holiday craft fair

LEYDEN — The Leyden United Methodist Church will host a holiday craft fair on Saturday, Dec. 13, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the church on West Leyden Road as well as at Leyden Town Hall across the street.

The event will include lunch prepared by the church, a bake sale and a raffle.

‘Smartphone Skills’ program rescheduled

NORTHFIELD — Steph Stoudenmire’s “Smartphone Skills: Get More From Your Phone” program, originally scheduled for Nov. 20 at the Northfield Senior Center, has been rescheduled to Thursday, Dec. 4, from 1 to 3 p.m.

This is a beginner-friendly workshop for Android and iPhone users. Attendees can learn to adjust their settings, use voice typing, navigate maps and download helpful apps.

Children’s choir to perform at Northfield church

NORTHFIELD — The Trinitarian Congregational Church at 147 Main St. will host a Children’s Choir Holiday Concert on Tuesday, Dec. 9, at 3 p.m.

The event will include Christmas choral works, instrument performances and carol sing-alongs by the Thomas Aquinas Children’s Choir.

Dec. 18: Make holiday cards with Canva

NORTHFIELD — The Northfield Senior Center will help community members make holiday cards using Canva during a program on Thursday, Dec. 18, from 1 to 3 p.m.

Bernardston Senior Center hosting sound bath

BERNARDSTON — Encouraging peace and relaxation, the Bernardston Senior Center will host a sound bath on Wednesday, Dec. 10, at 1 p.m.

In an hour of tranquility, participants will immerse themselves in soothing tones that wash away stress and tension, allowing for relaxation and inner harmony. The gentle vibrations of the crystal singing bowls envelop participants, promoting a sense of calm and serenity.

First responders to discuss emergency preparedness

BERNARDSTON — First responders will discuss best practices for emergency preparedness, whether the incident be a medical emergency or a heavy storm, during a program at the Bernardston Senior Center on Wednesday, Dec. 3, at 12:30 p.m.

Painting workshop to craft happy snowmen

BERNARDSTON — My Art Company will lead participants in painting a happy snowman on a 5-inch-by-7-inch framed chalkboard during a workshop on Tuesday, Dec. 9, from 12:30 to 2:30 p.m. at the Bernardston Senior Center.

No experience is needed. Participants are advised to wear old clothes or bring a paint shirt. They may also bring their own palettes and brushes.

There is a $5 suggested donation for supplies. Space is limited to 12 and sign-up is required. Call 413-648-5413 for more information.
