Next puzzle swap set for Nov. 29
NORTHFIELD — Free used puzzles will be available at Dickinson Memorial Library on Saturday, Nov. 29, from 10 to 11:30 a.m.
Participants can take as many puzzles as they want and keep them as long as they need. The puzzle swap is offered monthly. However, a puzzle swap will not be offered in December, with the next event scheduled for Jan. 3, so attendees are advised to plan ahead.
Attendees should park in the back and enter through the side door of the library. Turn left to find the Community Room.

Nov. 29: Warwick’s annual holiday craft fair
WARWICK — Approximately 40 craftspeople, musicians, bakers, nonprofits and other vendors will be at Warwick Community School, located at 41 Winchester Road (Route 78), from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 29, for the annual holiday craft fair. The Warwick Historical Society and Women’s Guild are also participants.
A free house plant swap is a new event this year, along with the school offering free books. A silent auction, raffles and a gift card tree with hundreds of dollars of cards will also be highlighted. Clyde Perkins Jr. will perform on the harp and Dan Becker will offer piano music from his new CD in the gymnasium. Chili and soups will be available for lunch, and Santa will be in attendance.
Warwick craftspeople featured at the fair include Sandy Renna, Sarah Johnson, Ruth Joslin, Janice Alden, Barb Noel, Julie Severance, Kady Woods, Amber and Elaina Holloway, Sarah Picard and Rosa Fratangelo. Several artisans from other local towns will also be on hand, including a local winemaker offering tastings.
Proceeds of the fair benefit the programs of the Trinitarian Congregational Church/Metcalf Chapel, which includes Free Food Fridays, space for homeschoolers to learn, a medical lending library, movie nights, and a host of other chapel and town-wide events.

Leyden wreath-making workshop returns
LEYDEN — The Leyden United Methodist Church will hold its annual wreath-making workshop on Sunday, Nov. 30, with two sessions from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 1 to 3 p.m. at Leyden Town Hall, 16 West Leyden Road.
Each workshop will include instructional bow making. Attendees are welcome to bring additional accents if they are interested in adding more than a bow.
The cost is $30 per wreath. Payment options include cash, checks, PayPal and Venmo. No sign-up is required.

Northfield student finishes ninth in Stock Horse of Texas World Championship Show
ABILENE, Texas — Northfield resident Chloe Rourke, a junior agricultural media and communication major studying at West Texas A&M University, finished ninth in the non-pro division at the 2025 Stock Horse of Texas World Championship Show, held Oct. 24 to Oct. 26 in Abilene.
