ORANGE — An Orange woman plans to invest her winnings after claiming a $1 million prize through the Massachusetts State Lottery.
Ronda Brown chose the one-time payment of $650,000, before taxes, after winning on a “$2,000,000 50X Cashword” instant ticket game, according to the Massachusetts State Lottery.
Brown purchased her winning ticket at Cumberland Farms, at 25 East Main St. in Orange. The store will receive a $10,000 bonus for the sale.
