7:50 p.m. — Disturbance reported at the Garden Cinemas on Main Street. Male party is tearing down signs and screaming. Male also grabbed a juvenile and was trying to take their phone. Oliver Vincent Richards, 35, of Guilford, Vermont, was arrested on charges of vandalizing property (two counts), intimidating a witness/juror/police/court official, assault and battery, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.

Tuesday, July 1

3:35 p.m. — Report of shoplifting at Big Y on the Mohawk Trail. Store looking to identify two female teenagers that stole roughly $150 in liquor on Sunday. Services rendered.

4:56 p.m. — Cyclist crashed her bicycle at Main and Chapman street while trying to get out of the line of traffic. Sustained facial injuries. AMR ambulance responded.

Wednesday, July 2

7:41 a.m. — Demetri James McCassier, 30, of Arch Place in Greenfield, was arrested on a warrant on Arch Place.

12:30 p.m. — Caller from Ice Cream Alley on Main Street reports a male party is screaming and threatening customers. Party left the area prior to police arrival and was found on the Greenfield Common. Party stated he was upset because he received bad news earlier. Party was reminded about proper behavior.

2:58 p.m. — Reporting party on Conway Drive states her tractor was stolen from her property. No one who is involved is able to prove ownership of the tractor with any paperwork. Both parties claim ownership or joint ownership of the tractor. Male party agreed to park the tractor on the property line so the female party can use it.

3:46 p.m. — Report of breaking and entering at Hair Affairs on the Mohawk Trail. Officer to investigate. Male party entered the building and stole a phone. Luis Angel Nieves Vazquez, 45, of Arch Place in Greenfield, was arrested on charges of larceny from a building and breaking and entering into a building in the daytime for a felony.

8:44 p.m. — Miyah Kaye Odle, 31, of Forest Avenue in Greenfield, was arrested on a charge of trafficking in cocaine (36 grams or more/less than 100 grams).

Thursday, July 3

9:04 a.m. — Report of a paving company going door to door on Country Club Road trying to scam people. Male party driving a large white transit van. Could not locate.

9:26 a.m. — Reporting party is upset because he can see an officer walking around his property on Scout Road with someone with a laptop. States no one has permission to be there and his wife is home alone scared. Reporting party was advised there is a detail officer scheduled to be at that location due to work being done by GCET. Reporting party got even more upset, stated his property is posted and said he wants GCET to receive a no-trespass order. Caller was advised he’ll need to contact the Franklin County Sheriff’s Office.

10:29 a.m. — Caller reports a male party struck his mother in the face and she is now bleeding. Stated they are heading to the emergency room. Officer out with the involved male party in the apartment parking lot next door to CVS Pharmacy on Federal Street. Noah Richard Foster-Marquis, 28, of High Street in Greenfield, was arrested on a charge of assault and battery on a family/household member.

5:22 p.m. — Following a traffic stop on Main Street, Keith Leonard Glover, 48, of Dorchester, was arrested on a warrant as well as on charges of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license (subsequent offense), negligent operation of a motor vehicle and a marked lanes violation.

Friday, July 4

4:21 p.m. — Reporting party states there were two female parties that broke the back window of a home on Frederick Road. Described as wearing black shirts and light jeans. Owner of the residence was locked out. Confirmed with driver’s license.

5:36 p.m. — Officer advises a male party threatened another individual with a knife and is slashing tires. Heading east down Wisdom Way. Henry Walker Ball, 18, of Arch Place in Greenfield, was arrested on charges of assault with a dangerous weapon and disorderly conduct.

Saturday, July 5

9:16 p.m. — Erratic operation reported at Baystate Franklin Medical Center. Security reporting a vehicle is operating erratically. A black Honda is driving through the parking lot, speeding and swerving down Sanderson Street, then speeding through the lot again. Unable to locate.

Sunday, July 6

1:02 p.m. — Caller reports he lost his wallet on a bike ride this morning. Someone tried to use his credit and debit cards. Attempted to use Cash App and make transactions at Green Mart Convenience on Conway Street. Reviewing surveillance footage.

5:27 p.m. — Caller reports a brawl in the street at Chapman Court. About eight people involved. Unknown weapons. Reporting party could only hear people smacking each other. Crowd dispersed upon police arrival. Reportedly not a physical fight, all verbal.

Monday, July 7

11:30 a.m. — Officer conducting a follow-up investigation on Cypress Street. Brenda J. Gamlin, 66, of Cypress Street in Greenfield, was arrested on a charge of violating a harassment prevention order.

5:29 p.m. — Report of a hit and run at Planet Gas on the Mohawk Trail. Blue SUV, went toward the rotary. Incident under investigation.
