I’m sure we are all proud of reporter Chris Larabee, who wrote so well for the Recorder, and who has moved onto an editorial position with another publication.  Well done, Chris!

We’ll miss his cogent reporting and the insightful stories that tracked, for example, the search for a South County senior center, or the moving tribute he wrote about the late Frank Marchand, Sunderland and South Deerfield’s plumber-poet whose generosity and sense of humor did so much to support cancer survivors and their families.

I hope that the Recorder will soon find someone who can cover the South County’s communities as thoroughly as Chris did.  That quality of local coverage is what makes the Recorder our “must-read” newspaper.
