GREENFIELD — Drivers, plan accordingly: The on-ramp from the Greenfield rotary onto Interstate 91 southbound will be closed to traffic on Friday from approximately 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
According to a Massachusetts Department of Transportation (MassDOT) press release, the temporary closure will allow crews to conduct paving operations on the bridge that carries Interstate 91 southbound over Fairview Street.
People traveling through the impacted area should expect delays, reduce speed and use caution, the press release advises. Signs and messaging will be in place to notify drivers. The work schedule is weather dependent and subject to change without notice.
