Steven Howland’s letter in response to my letter, is the platform on which I may well rest my case. For starters, the Holy Bible states in Romans 1:26, 27 that homosexual behavior IS against nature and the natural relationship between man and woman.
The more entertaining portion of his letter is the “scientific fact” that we all may have “gay worms” in our backyard. Mr. Science also tells Mr. Howland that our wonderful world has gay sheep, whales, giraffes and over 1,500 other species. Folks, this is not science but gay activism; polluting our thoughts and desires, our schools, churches, the federal government… and even Pope Francis.
It is interesting that Mr. Howland brings up the American Psychiatric Association. The APA bible is the DSM (Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders). Continual and exhaustive scientific research concluded that homosexuality is a perversion and was listed at the top of the DSM’s list of sexual deviations. Then around 1970, gay activists from San Francisco, namely the Gay Liberation Front and the National Gay Task Force declared the following in the words of their leader Frank Kameny: “Psychiatry is the enemy incarnate. Psychiatry has waged a relentless war of extermination against us. You may take this as a declaration of war against you.” So much for intellectual freedom.
In 1973, under this intense pressure and a growing number of gay insiders, valid research data was cast aside and the APA, with no additional research, changed the DSM to read that homosexuality is now normal behavior. So much for scientific freedom. The result? Any treatment of this disorder is acting against the DSM, and the scripture I mentioned is currently considered hate speech and hence illegal. So much for truth, freedom of speech and religion.
