BUCKLAND — A “spirit gallery” with psychic medium Brandie Wells will raise money for Shelburne Falls Eagles Auxiliary scholarships that are given to Mohawk Trail Regional School graduates.
Wells, a psychic medium and paranormal investigator who manages a metaphysical goods shop in Keene, New Hampshire, has been featured on the Travel Channel’s show “A Haunting.” She will be at Mohawk Trail Regional School on Saturday, April 19, at 7 p.m. to channel spirits and share their messages to the living.
Wells said she is happy to use her experience and abilities to support the Shelburne Falls Eagles Auxiliary in raising money for scholarships.
“They reached out to me because I’m a medium known throughout New England,” Wells said. “It’s been a 10-year journey of calling myself a medium, but I’ve been connecting with spirits since I was a little girl.”
Wells said she runs her spirit gallery sessions differently than other mediums. She spends the first half hour of the event letting whichever spirits happen to be present come forward and speak to their loved ones.
“I go into a form of self-hypnosis, and go into a state between the realms of the living and beyond,” Wells said. “Their loved ones are with them, not with me. I’m just a conduit for them to receive messages from the spirits.”
After letting spirits come forward to address the audience members, Wells spends the second half of the show letting the audience address the spirits. Attendees can call their loved ones forward and try to communicate with the spirits through Wells.
“It’s run a little differently,” Wells said. “It’s very intriguing to watch.”

Wells said she hopes attendees come to her spirit gallery with open hearts and minds. While she cannot force people to believe in ghosts, mediums or the messages she passes along, she hopes attendees are receptive to her methods. She said she tries to reach as many people as she can to share messages of love.
“It’s not my job to convince anyone of the messages I’m giving. It’s up to them to interpret and take from the messages what resonates with them,” Wells said. “For me, it’s important I bring messages of hope and guidance.”
Doors open at 6:30 and the show will begin at 7 p.m. in the school auditorium. Tickets are $45 and can be purchased at bit.ly/SFeagles.
